Councilman Bishop believes it is important to create job opportunities by supporting the local college and creating educational programs. Diversifying our economy with the entertainment industry in addition to our base of aerospace jobs is a top priority.
Austin Bishop works closely with local law enforcement and civil rights leaders to bring people together to promote a safe environment and reduce crime. As a Sheriff's Booster Director, Austin Bishop has advocated for reform and greater public safety for many years, helping raise funds to support non-lethal enforcement equipment, body cameras and bulletproof vests for local deputies.
